The 1977 summer tour ran July through September 1977 on a $150,000 chrome future-set: sixty feet wide, a drum riser that moved forward and levitated, hydraulic balconies that lowered the band onto the stage, stair treads that lit up under their boots, and a 48-foot lighting truss overhead.
